We need our members and friends to Serve IN our congregation on Sunday mornings, and we ask that everyone take a turn helping out at least a couple of times a year.  There are a lot of areas you can help out!  Check out the online signup form by clicking the box below and pick your date!

A major part of our vision to LOVE ALL, SERVE ALL is to have regular opportunities for you to put “boots on the ground” and serve in hands-on missions. We are challenging you to participate in at least two of these projects each year. We pray you’ll take on the challenge! 

Riverbend Food Bank

Time/Date:  Monday, Dec 1 from 3:30 – 6:30
Location:    River Bend Food Bank – North Park (between the old Sears and Von Maur)

We need 10 volunteers to help stock food onto shelves while clients shop. Wear closed-toed shoes, please.  Anyone 10 and up is welcome to help. You will be standing and doing light lifting.

Family Resources Adopt-A-Family Gift Wrapping

Time/Date:  Wednesday, Dec 10th from 6:00-9:00 pm
Location:    Family Resources (By Genesis West in Davenport)

One of our valued mission partners, Family Resources, is looking for 8 people to help with their annual Adopt-A-Family program. They need folks to come in to wrap the donated gifts on Wednesday, Dec 10th from 6-9pm. All supplies are provided, they just need willing hands. If you are available, would you help out?

Christmas Caroling to BPC Homebound Members

Time/Date:  Wednesday, Dec 17th from 5:30-7:00 pm
Location: Meet at BPC

An annual tradition of spreading joy and Christmas cheer to some of our homebound members and friends.  We will meet at church for a light soup dinner and then depart to carol at 4 of our local senior homes.  No talent is required- just come and make a joyful noise!
