Serve IN (serving the Church)
We need our members and friends to Serve IN our congregation on Sunday mornings, and we ask that everyone take a turn helping out at least a couple of times a year. There are a lot of areas you can help out: Ushering, greeting, liturgist and more! Contact Chris at wo*****@******es.org to be added to a service team!
Serve OUT (serving the community)
A major part of our vision to LOVE ALL, SERVE ALL is to have regular opportunities for you to put “boots on the ground” and serve in hands-on missions. We are challenging you to participate in at least two of these projects each year. We pray you’ll take on the challenge!
Riverbend Food Bank
Time/Date: Monday, September 14th from 3:30-6:30pm
Location: River Bend Food Bank – North Park SE side (between the old Sears and Von Maur)
We need 10 volunteers to help stock food onto shelves while clients shop. Wear closed-toed shoes, please. Anyone 10 and up is welcome to help. You will be standing and doing light lifting.
