We need our members and friends to Serve IN our congregation on Sunday mornings, and we ask that everyone take a turn helping out at least a couple of times a year.  There are a lot of areas you can help out!  Check out the online signup form by clicking the box below and pick your date!

A major part of our vision to LOVE ALL, SERVE ALL is to have regular opportunities for you to put “boots on the ground” and serve in hands-on missions. We are challenging you to participate in at least two of these projects each year. We pray you’ll take on the challenge! 

Riverbend Food Bank

Time/Date:  Monday, April 20th from 3:30-6:30pm
Location:    River Bend Food Bank – North Park SE side (between the old Sears and Von Maur)

We need 10 volunteers to help stock food onto shelves while clients shop. Wear closed-toed shoes, please.  Anyone 10 and up is welcome to help. You will be standing and doing light lifting.

Camp Bear Creek Volunteer Day

Time/Date:  Saturday, May 9 from 9am-2pm
Location:    Camp Bear Creek (9106 42nd Ave., Wyoming, Iowa)

Lunch Provided!

What We’ll Be Doing: Getting the site ready for summer camp is a lot of work! We’ll have projects for all abilities and ages, including things like:

Setting up our arts & crafts area
Moving furniture
Landscaping
Painting
Splitting firewood
Mulching trails
Cleaning kayaks, lifejackets, and helmets
And so much more!
