Good news! We are reopening for indoor, in-person worship services! The two service times will be at 9am and 10:45am. We’re excited to welcome you back!
If you attend (and we hope you will!) we are asking for you to register due to social distancing guidelines. For now, we are limited to around 40 people per service. Please register here: https://reopen.church/r/Owh4VLnl
We will also continue our online worship service each Sunday at 9am. The livestream will continue to be accessible via the church’s YouTube (www.youtube.com/c/bettendorfpresbyterian) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/bettpres/live) sites as well as linked from our webpage.
A note from Pastor Troy-
Let’s try this again! We’re reopening BPC for worship services beginning on October 18th! We’re really excited, and know you are as well. There are a few things we want you to know as we prepare to reopen –your safety as our first concern. First and foremost, per CDC guidelines, we want to encourage all those with pre-existing medical conditions to continue to worship with us via our online service options.
We will continue to offer our online worship experience with our live stream taking place at 9am on www.bettpres.org/watch/streaming, Facebook and YouTube. This stream will remain available to watch at any time following the initial broadcast.
•We will have two identical services at 9 am and 10:45.•To ensure proper social distancing, we are asking you to make a reservation for worship. There will be an online signup for you to use, so we can properly track who is in attendance. Attendance will be limited to first 40 to RSVP for each service. The link for this will be sent out the Monday before via “The Week Ahead” email. Links for the reservation site can also be found on the church’s website and Facebook page. You can also call Cindi Lake at the office 563-355-6494 and make your reservation with her.
•When you get to church, please have a mask on. At the door, your temperature will be taken, and your name checked off the reservation list. If your temperature is over 100 degrees, you will not be allowed to enter. Masks will be required while in the church building.
•We all know how to social distance by now and so we are asking that you practice good social distancing as you come in and find your seat in worship and as you leave following the service.
•There will be singing, and it will take place at the end of the service. Masks will continue to be required.
•Restrooms will be available.
•You are welcome to fellowship in the parking lot following worship but please practice social distancing as you do.
A couple of notes:
•No fellowship hour/coffee hour for the time-being
•There will be no nursery for the time-being
•We ask you to only use the upper parking lot and the main sanctuary door
Again, I know that this is not ideal and that there may be some bugs that will have to work out during this phase of reopening, so I would beg your patience as we continue to navigate these crazy times together. Yours in Christ,Pastor Troy
