New to the area? Finding a new church? Or, just visiting?  We understand that going to a new church- whether you are new to the area, reconnecting or just visiting can be an intimidating.  We hope that the following will help you out and ease your stress a little!  We’re just glad you’re here!

When are services?

9:00AM- Traditional service at .  This is a service with organ, hymnal and choir (during the school year).  There are times where we have special music either from guests or from some of our talented church members.

11:00AM- Contemporary service.  This is a relatively informal worship service with modern music led by our praise band teams with lyrics projected on a screen.

What Should I Wear?

We want you to feel comfortable. We are just happy that you are joining us for worship! We want you to be able to focus on worship rather than what you are wearing. During the summertime, it is common for parishioners to wear shorts and t-shirts. Of course you can wear your “Sunday Best” if you so choose to.

If your curious, our 9am traditional service tends to be more formal and our 11am Contemporary service less formal.

Where Are We Located?

We’re located at 1200 Middle Rd. in Bettendorf, IA. We’re right on the Northeast corner of I-74 and Middle Rd.

Where Do My Children Go?

Children are always welcome to participate in worship service. In fact, we always have a Children’s Message time in both our 9:00AM and 11:00AM services. We understand though that little ones can get bored or antsy during services, so we do offer child care during both services so you can focus on worship.  The nursery is located downstairs- if you need help, just ask and someone will gladly show you the way!

I Have Hearing Problems. Is There Hearing Assistance?

Yes! For those that need assistance due to impaired hearing, we have special hearing devices that you can pick up from the Welcome Table near the entrance.

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

We’re honestly more concerned about your heart than your checkbook.  It’s totally up to you if you wish to give!  Should you choose to become a member of BPC we would love for you to prayerfully consider giving to the church to further our ministry and mission.  During the 11am we do not “pass the plates”, but rather have a brass bucket in the sanctuary available to place your offering if you wish.

What is a BPC Service Like?

God is good!  Each week we’ll share in singing songs of praise, pray together, read scripture together and listen to a great sermon!

We strive to have passionate engagement and provide a meaningful worship experience at BPC. We value…

Jesus: It is through Christ that we come to know God. We have in Him our hope and our salvation. Everything we do in worship and in mission is focused on honoring our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Relevance: We actively seek to reach and meet needs across generations and faith backgrounds.
