9:00 AM Worship – Traditional Service
Our 9:00 AM Traditional service is a worship service in which we honor God through scripture, prayer, silent reflection, the breaking of bread and hymn singing while we embrace the rich tradition and history of Christianity.
This ensemble is open to all adults, and high school students whose voices have changed. All that is required to be a part of this group is a desire to sing, enjoy the fellowship of other Christians, and worship our saving Lord through music. We focus on praise, not perfection, therefore music reading skills and choral experience are NOT required. The Chancel Choir rehearses every Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM from September-May.
The BPC symphony comes together to lead our congregation in song several times a year and helps to accompany our special services, such as Christmas and Easter. The BPC Symphony is open to any instrumentalist regardless of age or skill, even if you haven’t played your instrument in years! This would be a great chance to dust it off and see if you can still make a joyful noise!
The handbell choir rehearses on Wednesday nights at 6pm and offers anthems on the 4th Sunday of the month.
11:00 AM Worship- Contemporary Service
When you attend the 11:00 AM service, you can expect a casual, come-as-you are atmosphere. Music is a mix of hymns and modern worship favorites, led by our praise bands.
You can listen to some of the music we worship with through our Spotify playlist!
The praise bands lead the 11am service and practice on Thursday nights at 6:30pm. If you sing, play bass, guitar, keyboards or drums and feel called to join a worship team, please call Chris Werner at the church (563) 355-6494 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
