The Endowment Fund provides for the mission and ministry of this church for generations ahead by making it possible for members of the congregation to extend their stewardship beyond their lifetime.
The Endowment Fund is managed by a board of five trustees, one being elected each year for a term of five years, thereby providing continuity and stability on the board.
The Endowment Fund BOARD OF TRUSTEES will give you assistance in developing a Christian will and in your estate planning to help transform your dreams into future reality.
A permanent record of each donor’s gift, devise or bequest is maintained by the Board of Trustees which scrupulously honors all requests for anonymity.
Principal amounts are retained in the Endowment Fund and are kept segregated from all other church funds. Only the income earned from the principal can be expended in accordance with the terms of your gift.
The Endowment Fund can provide ways by which your resources can serve a two-fold purpose by giving you an income for life and then establishing them as permanently endowed funds to serve the causes of Jesus Christ even beyond your lifetime.
The Endowment Fund provides the means by which you can designate how the income from your gifts is to be used. Your gifts may be made to any of the following sub-funds:
- Facilities Improvement
- Christian Education
Income from unrestricted funds can only be expended with the approval of the Session with full consideration given to the church’s long range plans in the use of such funds.
