Registration for this summer VBS is under way. Stop by the CM Office or the table in the Narthex and pick up a form. Come join us at the County Fair Where Kids Grow the Fruit of the Spirit.

Vacation Bible School 2007 SonForce Kids
Courageous Kids on a Mission for God
All the special agents at SonForce have left the church building and are on secret assignment elsewhere. Boy, did we have a fun packed week of adventure at Vacation Bible School. We had 51 children registered yet always had more than that each day because a friend would join one of the agents. Our staff of 34 taught, fed, played, crafted and sang with the children. It may have been raining outside but it was bright and sunny inside our church walls and certainly inside our hearts.
Thank you to the parents and others who brought the children each day to learn to trust in God's plans, unite with God's people, train for God's service, follow in God's path, and lead others to God's promises. Thank you to the volunteers that stepped out of their usual routine to be here and made a difference in the lives of our children. Unless you are here, you have no idea how many hands are needed. Consider helping out next year because I promise you that you'll get back more joy than you can believe. Our mission projects were SMILES and the Humane Society and they received boxes of donations from our children.
Thank you to all who donated money and food for this week. We purchase everything from snacks to curriculum to paper products through our CM budget and donations and because of the generosity of our congregation, we can offer VBS with no cost to those who attend. Also we thank the Smidt family for their generosity by donating the creative props from their VBS at Harvest Bible Chapel.
