Recent Events

  • Mother/Daughter Banquet

A wonderful catered meal and time of fellowship was shared by about 96 young ladies and women on Sunday, May 4th at the Mother/Daughter banquet put on by the Presbyterian Women (PW) organization.

The yearly PW "Honorary Life Membership" award went to Mary Hasty, who is so deserving.

We had an overwhelming response to the Christian Family Care Center mission this year. This is an organization that provides shelter to battered women and their children. We collected close to $400 for fresh food for them, in addition to some donated food items. Thank you so much to those who donated.

Thanks to Kim Kidwell, the special event coordinator, who put this special event together!

Honorary Life Members

The caring, supportive hands represent women who seek to build an inclusive community of Presbyterian Women. The leaf represents growth of our personal and corporate response to Jesus Christ as we nurture our faith. The dove indicates our work for peace in our lives and throughout the world, shown in the globe. At the center of the design is the cross, by which our sins are forgiven and we are freed to live in Christ, who is at the center of our lives. The overall design is that of a butterfly, symbol of newness in Christ and the emergence of a new creation, Presbyterian Women.

An Honorary Life Membership in Presbyterian Women, Presbyterian Church (USA) is conferred upon an individual in recognition of faithful service in any area of the church's work.
